Picked up a angle grinder at harbor freight and a wire wheel. Not bad for 20 bucks. The deal feel through on the new frame for my 91'. The frame looks much better without the rust scale in the few places i took the scale off.
For those of you that haven't seen the thread Aaron linked above - it's official - I've taken over for Dave as the CT Chapter leader. (Oh no, what have I gotten myself into!)
Thanks for the nomination and support of this chapter.
If anyone has any suggestions or ideas for the chapter, please feel free to contact me through PM or post up for all to see.
First, I'd like to say a BIG thank you to Dave for having been so welcoming as Chapter Leader up 'till now.
And wish him the very best with his new job.
So guys would anyone be interested in getting some chapter T-shirts made up?
We could use the same design as the chapter stickers.
I think we might be able to get them for about $8-$12 each.
I am in for tshirts. I wouldn't mind having more ford tshirts to choose from. Would there be a possibility of supplying our own shirts. I wouldn't mind having an underarmour one. Just curious, no big deal. Hope everybody had a good weekend, and is enjoying the rain. At least the temp is down!

i could use a few more shirts, long and short sleeved. im always proud of my ford fanaticism so im in for a few shirts! i like the logo too.
i too would like to join jim in thanks to dave for his excellent job of recruitment and getting this chapter started off on the right foot. i hope you find the new job both fun and lucrative!
no money exchanged hands, but i offered a deposit. he said he would just hold on to it. gotta submit the VIN to the loan people and hopefully pick it up this coming weekend.
its a loooooooooooooooonnnnngggg truck. not in perfect condition but good and what i was expecting for a truck with 86000, the leather needs a good shampoo and conditioning but is in good condition, and the exterior has 0 rust being that it was a FL truck, a few dents, some delaminating wood accent pieces that need to be removed or replaced, missing some hub caps, it drove and shifted great, no leaks that i could see. the heated seats and sunroof work
im happy with it, and cant wait to put a nice detail job and mudders on it. im not ordering anything for it until its in my name, but as soon as its mine i will be getting a leveling kit and gooseneck hitch for it.
oh one downside, is that it has a visor....i think its just a stick on one with no screws so that would be sweet. if it has screws i may have to fill some holes or leave it on.
