I am thinking about buying a 95 F150 ext cab with a blown motor. The frame and body are in pretty good shape so I would like to take my 351 out of the rusty 93 and put it in the 95. If I did this does anyone khow how would it work for emissions testing? I think they go off the vin # and info off the door sticker.
kevin theygo off the vin, you should be fine. also, i dont know how much truth thereis to it but someone told me they have a provision to make changes for engine swaps. this came froma guy who swapped a supercharged v6 into a fiero to replace the i4. i dont know if he was right though.
greg, that is one intense air freshner in your car.
yeah, like fall over unconscious kind of air freshener. It still wasn't dry tonight, so it will go another day with the fan on and hatchback/doors open. I'll probably break out the kerosene heater tomorrow as well to try and speed the process. Water doesn't like to evaporate when its raining. Once its dry it will get at least a couple of days locked up tight with some vinegar inside. The wife googled around and supposedly a couple of days air tight (or at least mostly) with vinegar should remove the smell. Here's hoping.
Mornin' All!!
Man I forget to check in for a few days and whammo things get crazy. Let's see here congrats to Andy our new leader.
A big Thank You and Good Luck to Dave.
Good luck with the KR Aaron.
As far as the rims being painted I'd go with the rivets and out side ring being silver and the rest flat black, to make them look like the old spoke rims on school buses.
Hope your car dries out there Greg, at least it's not like my buddys minivan. His wife spilled acid on the front seat and it ate a hole the size of your fist to the floor before they noticed it.
I'd vote for breakfast on Sun morning, still work on Saturdays
Oh and put me down for a couple of T shirts.
Did I forget anything? lol
I'll try to make it whenever. The sooner we settle the better cause I work on a first come first serve basis. If I can plan my time before the boss does it for me, then I am good.
