Coal trucks from the Appalachian Coal Fields. Definitely deserve to be here.

Old Ford Trucks

This is from the old family picture box, my grandpa is in the lower left, selling a new Ford truck with new Eaton 2-speed axle added by Ford for better economy.

Now that's equally as cool. Having grandpa in the literature is just plain awesome.

Those coal trucks I'm sure are overloaded but hey they got the job done. Slow going up hill but interesting going downhill & probably some smoking brakes.

Since my father is the college rodeo advisor for Fresno State, I helped with their rodeo this weekend. The looks on everyone's faces as I pulled up were priceless to say the least. I had some helpers that obviously were narrow minded because they immediately started to laugh at my truck and tell me all the overused acronyms of the word "ford". Many people have said I have the coolest head they've ever seen. But by the time the rodeo was over I had enough. To make a long story short, I shut those little Cheby loving imbeciles up when my dad asked me to haul 50 bales of absolutely drenched hay from one rodeo arena to another (10 miles round trip). It took 4 loads but in retrospect I believe I could've done it in three.
This is a picture of the first load of hay:

We put Teddy to work over the spring break! Took the grandson and quad up to the same hunting/fishing area I first took Teddy with my dad back in 1970 just after buying it. Good memories!
