I need some lumber, 12' and 16-footers; and it's not a surprise that my 1-ton(8 foot bed) truck is far from done, and my 2-ton truck(13' bed) is very sick and runs very poorly.
...well I guess that leaves the job to be done by my ½-ton.
The guy put a nylon strap around the wood and the tailgate, and then another around the wood alone, and from the strap just around the wood, I pull on that strap with my ratchet strap. that's it, haha I hope it holds till I get 5 miles from my house to the worksite this morning.
Hauling some Studebaker parts home and one pic of the 49 with an engine in the bed and my old Dodge in the background also carrying and engine (Caddy 429 under wraps). Hopefully I can get the engine introduced to the truck and they will be great friends going forward...
This picture was posting on remembering Milwaukee FB page. This is a true working truck picture from 1953. I'm sure the truck was being used as a truck as it was designed.
