Just thought I would share some pics from a local site. This is why we build the trucks you guys like to make fun of.

i just don't much care for him from what i've read of his stuff on pirate. 90% of the floriduh mud doesn't have much if any clay content like what i'm used to. him and seth(pro) had a disagreement about what constitutes mud, and how a ginormous ag tired truck with a stock chevy 6.0 would be about useless in actual clay mud. iniviate found some good mud and promptly got stuck, yet still insisted that 300hp and 60+ inch ag tires was still a hot setup for mud. might work in floriduh, but not the rest of the u.s.

he seems like he knows his stuff about big ghey trucks, but low hp tractor tire trucks don't work everywhere. some of us have mud that sticks to ****, not the silty water you guys play in :flipoff:

it's all about location i guess. otherwise i don't have an issue with him.

Glad I dont wheel anywhere but Florida then

We have almost no clay here, and deep water is almost everywhere. So alot of the trucks you are used to elsewhere would almost immediately get submerged under water here.

I would have to agree with Dan on the mud deal. Even with 5.38s, and 44s my maybe 250 hp has problems sometimes.

Some of those rigs would look better if they had tires that where taller to fit the ridiculous amount of lift. But, hey, it works for down there, and it looks like it could be fun.

The HP doesnt effect it too much, most trucks run dual cases or profab/scs with 4:1 ratios. Along with 6.44 gears in the axles it makes the tires turn somewhat easy.

I'm still thinkin big problems in clay mud, cuz if I remember right, I have a 4 to 1 low range........ Clay kills wheel speed. Gumbo does too.

but not fast, least not fast enough for clay. with the mud up here you need power and wheel speed. gear reduction will get them moving, but you'll rev out before you get enough wheel speed to clean the tires out good enough to keep chugging through it.

i'm looking into ag tires, but it's hard to figure out what size is what. i know they come in 37's 38's and a bunch of different 40''+ sizes. would ideally like something in a 40-45'' size, probably better off with 40's than 45's though.

16.5x16.1 would work for you. They are around 40" and you can mount on 16 or 16.5" rim.

And I understand what your saying with the clay, but there really is next to no clay here so its not that big of a deal. Mainly like i said, deep water and nasty black mud underneath it all.

This might help with some sizes... there are a couple more charts like this for different brands, but i cant find the links on my comp.

"mud" more like dirty water

Cool trucks though, they're big and ghey and useless for anything other than driving through big puddles, but I still think they're badass looking, most of the time - the ones that are functional, built right, and get used anyway. Yours for example, despite all the BS we throw at you, is pretty cool.
