the 'howling' in the front end
is becoming worse.
how hard is it to change out
the front bearings?
i hear that they are
pressed into the axle.
thanks

You really need to start making your own threads to be seen more.
The front bearings, I assume it is 4WD? If so they are sold as "unit" bearings, not serviceable, but the entire unit bolts into place.
my truck has a tendency to have a hard
time coming out of idle especially if the engine is cold
i press down on the accelerator and it just idles along with no power
then after a pause it will power up
this is something pretty new in the last couple of weeks

is there anything i can do about this

Just for future reference.... It's ok to start new threads when new problems arise. But if this works for you that's ok too. Just looks odd when a two year old thread pops up.
Anyway, it sounds like your exhaust back pressure valve might be sticking. Or maybe a dead spot in the throttle position sensor.
to fix these thing
does one just buy the new sensors?
thanks

Well, welcome back! I agree with Scott, but if this is how you stay connected then, by all means...
In order for the PCM to respond to throttle input, don't forget these are "drive by wire", first the IVS(Idle Validation Switch) must be made, then the TPS(Throttle Position Sensor) or AP(Accelerator Pedal) using a potentiometer varies the resistance based on position.
Make sure when you start your truck that your foot is not resting on the pedal, if it is, and the IVS made then you will not have any pedal input until the IVS cycles again. You or anyone can test this theory by holding the pedal to the floor at startup and it will not rev above idle if properly working.
I would start by removing the pedal assembly and cleaning the IVS and TPS with electronics cleaner first. Personally I do it about yearly.
If your EBPV is sticking, it will sound like a jet engine out of the tailpipe, that's the easiest(or first) indication of a sticking EBPV.
