You guys have my utmost respect for restoring cars like that. I freak out when I see surface rust on my jillion original miles '64 Falcon Convertible w/289 n' Toploader.
I have deleted a few posts and edited a few others. To the ones that tried to keep this in line "Thank You"
One of the liberties of this forum is that we do go off topic quite a bit and it generally is fine.
Personal attacks will not be tolerated at all. If anyone wants to discuss this further we will do it via pm's and not here in the open forum.
May be we should consider creating a forum called "Other interests/vehicles, ect" I didn't realize it was Soooo bad to bring up anouther vehicle, espessely in this case where Dave & I actually "met" on the other forum, and when I found he had a 7.3 truck and invited him to join us here.
Most people go from a gas to a diesel. Just a few things I'm thinking of are wiring/computers, fuel system would be different, do they run the 4R100 with the gas motors?
no, the trucks just fine
it just won't start if the temp is < 45 F
i'll have to have it checked out
and if i can't get it resolved
i'll just trade it for a new truck
that runs on gasoline.
