Dave, ARE you running the SYNTHETIC ROTELLA T-6?? if not your engine WILL benefit from it espessely in COLD weather where you are.
IF your fuel filter hasn't been changed in a while you should certainly change it-its simple enough, may be give your fuel system a GOOD STRONG dose of something like Power Service Diesel Kleen-(Double dose a few tanks)
How did you make out with the K rearend?
i had posted pics on the TPS thread
i cleaned up the IVS n TPS on my truck
and it seems to run pretty good now
as i'm getting good response to accl pedal movement!
will see how long this lasts!

I have a Kenwood, not sure on the model, that plays SD cards, CD's in MP3 format, has auxiliary and USB ports, plays nearly everything. I'm sure most of the modern head units will play multiple formats.
yeah, it's been running great
forgot to plug it in yesterday
and, even tho it was only 20F
it started right up!! (thanks to the new glo-plug relay unit!!)
also, has not died on the road since i had the super chip removed
i did break off the end of the gear shift
(the OD 3 wires were hanging out)
and had a new one put in
but unfortunately they must have forgot to tighen s.t.
as the shifter is loose and hard to get into drive.
i have to go to 1 or 2nd gear 1st and then 'come up' to drive
to get it in

Likely the Torx screws at the base of the shifter tube, all that would have been needed to change the shifter is pulling a pin.
Then if your "pointer" doesn't line up after that, you can adjust it with the thumbwheel behind the fuse panel cover on the lower dash.
Dave, do you happen to have a couple mustangs? Ever been up to WI? Someone from Iowa came and picked up my 65 notch about 7 years ago and was going to finish the restore.
