This takes us to the truck. It was my moms truck until the crankshaft broke and she was about to leave it in Orange,Tx. Problem solved, now I knew what I was going to do with the van. Thats when I got my trailer and went and picked up the truck. So I had a plan and I took everything with a wire attached out of the E350. While doing so I labeled every wire and where it came from. Surprisingly, the 2005 van had pretty simple wiring. In fact there seems to be less wiring in the van than the 89 F150. I've now started dismantling the truck and have sold the motor and tranny for $75.
I grew up in Orange Texas!! I just left almost two years ago!!!
Seeing you mention my hometown got me excited. I didn't mean to vear off topic!
He's been trying to buddy up to me ever since he saw what I did to his brother.
Thanks everybody for the compliments. Unfortunately for this project, it will be on hold for a little bit. The S10 I'm fixing to replace the F150 I took from my mom is getting a little more complicated. Nothing big, just going to throw a quick paint job on it. The thing that is really pulling me from this project is a once in a life opportunity. There's this 74 year old guy here in town that is getting rid of his collection of 60's-80's cars, trucks and parts he has sitting in a huge barn. I told him I would help him log everything he has that might be of interest and also research what it is. Most of what he has is scrap, but he's an old gearhead and would rather see it be used than go to the crusher. He plans on having an auction on April 30th here in Bastrop and everything has no reserve.
That's a 78 W30 442 and there's probably 30-40 vehicles total
Researching the vehicles will be the easy part. He's got as many engines as he does vehicles and i couldn't even count how many transmissions i saw. I haven't come across anything $uper rare but he says he has a triple deuce 396 from a corvette, some hemi blocks(not 426's) and some other performance motors. The place looks like something from that show "Hoarders" but with car parts. I'll post a link to a website with all the info when I get done.

What is the white truck in pic #3? It looks like an old International and if it is I might have to make a road trip to his auction.
That creation is a Bantam something. He told me but I forget. I started a new thread with a link to all the vehicles he's selling at this auction. He's got another location with vehicles from the 30s-70s that he plans on having after he gets done with this one....anymore questions about the auctions please direct toward that thread...thanks https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...l#post10025862
The guy building this lives right around the corner from me. He got the drive train from a wrecked cop car with only 4000 miles for $1300. He does this for a living and has many bada$$ projects going on right now, but this one is his
