odd question - brother in law gave me an old diesel can with a little bit of fuel in it... but no telling how old the fuel is. (Could be years as far as i know.) Back home on the farm, I'd have had several very handy uses for it that won't get posted here... but being 'in town'.... I'm not quite sure what to do with it. Any suggestions? Was tempted to mix it with the used motor oil I'll be dropping off for recycling.
If you're not going to use it for cleaning parts (like Anthony said) I wouldn't worry a bit about putting it in with the old oil. After all, it's just.........oil.
Been a good day. Spent most of the day on the water. Perfect weather, stopped in the harbor for lunch and managed to go out in a couple different boats before the end of the day. I'm still amused that they're paying me to do this.

Went to the San Diego County Fair yesterday. Long drive and real heavy traffic at mid-morning Saturday.
Lotsa' crowds, lines, hucksters (can you say, "Sham-Wow" or "Little Giant Ladders"?), cows, carney food, etc....
Of course, there's even pork-chops-on-a-stick, but one I hadn't heard of before:
Deep-fried BUTTER! Quarter-pound sticks. The guy told me they sell about 500 a day.
Same place makes chocolate-covered bacon! Mmmmmmm!
Didn't try either one....
Evening stage show was Guy Fieri from Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives on the Food Network. Most appropriate for the venue! He actually puts on a very-entertaining show for a crowd. Rock-n-roll, a couple of dishes in the pan, and some funny stories.
We didn't stay down there, and got back to the pups at 0100 this AM.
