Sounds like good times. Still have some last few bugs to iron out (tiny suspected boost leak in an up pipe, live tuning, etc etc...), but would love to see how it does at the track with 2wd. Little afraid I'll enjoy it... since we all know where that goes.
Hey Steve, is that an 8th or 1/4 mi strip?
Edit: on a side note - you guys would be proud of me for this one. I've been preaching the 'practicality' of having a good 4x4 in the event of a natural disaster - especially growing up with Hurricane seasons on the East coast. With the recent talk of a possible quake - my wife actually brought to my attention tonight that she thought it might be nice to have a jeep... just in case... after having pointed out two rather attractive examples the day before. *grin* Just made me happy that she's starting to think that way.
Voted too. Felt obligated. The wife just got a raise - which bumped her into the next tax bracket... so that her take home is exactly the same... so I suppose the state of CA got her raise? So much for encouraging hard work and improving commerce.

Got this off of KFI's site:
CHP motorcycle officer critically hurt in crash with 2 other cars on 405 at National. Fwy closed in both directions. Officer on traffic stop on right shoulder when another vehicle stuck in traffic decided to use right shoulder to get around traffic, at full fwy speed slammed into officer. Backup goes for miles.
