I found the March chat thread, still good for a couple more days.
Well it finally got nice enough outside to bring all the cars out of hiding and clean them up. So now I have 6 vehicles for sale out in front of my house and will have two more by the end of the week, getting hard to get into the driveway 4 blue Dodges, 1 blue Chrysler, 1 Silver Chevy, and by the end of the week 1 blue Chevy and my black stepside. Still not the most vehicles I've ever had for sale out front, once had 19 cars out front. What can I say I can't pass up a good deal and before I know it I have a used car lot My problem is not too many cars, my problem is I need a bigger shed, one that can hold at least 50 cars and have room to work.
I hate Mercedes, overcomplicated junk as far as I'm concerned, Bmw is about the same but with better engines and suspensions, still would never buy either. To each their own.
I don't really prefer cars or trucks, they each have their good points. At the moment all we have left in the yard is trucks, all the cars have died on us.
Hopefully soon I will have my Falcon done, it's taking longer than anticipated due to weather, time, and money. Can't wait to finish it, just need the bushings for the rear springs, new radiator, and put the stereo and speakers in and its good to go. Finally got all the seals and brakes installed on the rear end and all painted and ready to go in. Now I'm thinking of taking all the drums off and cross drilling them. Need something more to do, and it would be to have brakes that stop on a dime without fade on a car that can hardly top 60mph. 144 with the 3.10:1 rear end will be slower then molasses on a snail, but at least if anything goes wrong its a simple fix.
