As of right now there is a chance of rain on wed and that is about it which is good, with some flooding going on the last thing we need is rain.

Doing well Troy, how about you?

I am going to try to adjust my speedometer today, and see if I can get my scan gauge to show trans temp

Well I am doing pretty good but my 3 yr old was up sick all night so not much sleep here. Hanging out here at home today and probably watch the race.

Speedometer off? Did you change tire size or something else? Does the scan gauge read tranny temp from the trucks pcm or do you have to install a probe?

The malibu has a 400 big block bored to an unknown size to me, i believe it is only bored slightly over due to the condition in one of the cyclinders. The mustang has a 289 bored to over to the 300 area, he has performance heads, pistons and long tube headers.

Troy, Hope your 3yr old feels better. The speedometer, I did not change anything, it is off about 1.5-2mph under. Both my GPS & Scan Gauge says 55, and the speedo reads 57. I know my SCT tuner will adjust for this, just not sure how. I know if I email Mike at 5 Star Tuning he will probably write a program for me for free. Customer service next to none from him.

Update on the scan gauge. Still trying to fine tune MPG, off about .4. I just went and programmed in what they call X gauges, now I have trans temp, torque converter input torque, horsepower, and fuel level. This little thing will do a lot more than the truck is able to do. It also has intake air temp. I have a list of what it will do, let me know if you are looking for anything specific.

Sorry Troy, no extra probes or anything needed to do anything I have so far.

Thanks Lee my little guy is finally up around and seems to be doing better. Man that scan gauge can do alot of stuff so that is pretty cool. That sucks when the speedo is off like that and you always have to remember that when driving.

Sounds like they both have some decent motors in them!

Yeah Troy, I am very annal when it comes to MPG especially when on vacation. Probably because of how much we spend in fuel on a 3500 mile trip. I played around in my SCT, but do not know what to do.

I dont blame ya Lee for worrying about your mpg on a trip that long I would be the same way. If a guy isn't flushed with money every little bit counts. I am sure you will get it figured out Lee.

On a side note I am really getting sick of JJ winning races!! It wasn't that along I can remember the first 11 races there were 11 different winners. That's what we need again! Ok rant over..
