If I have to rebuild the engine I might as well swap something into it right?
Doesn't cost anything to tear down lol

Yeah you might as well dig into and see what you find. Your just gonna be out some labor is all. Who knows it may not be as bad as you think. You could do a swap of some sort but it might be cheaper to fix this one if money is tight right now.

Terry,

Just an FYI for you, but I just noticed a possible parts vehicle for you. 2002 Ford V-10 E 350 armored van

This is the link to a armored van on Craigslist. It is a rollover for $800, says high miles, but don't know how many. I think it would fit into your truck, and it is the new engine with the better power and heads.

I will try to get a larger picture up, may need to take another one.

That armored van parts may be just what Terry needs. The 2002 is a better setup than the 99. It has I believe 35 more HP stock, and does not have the same issue with spark plugs blowing out. I am not sure if the wireing is the same, but it probably would work. Heck, you could probably take the engine out, and part the rest of it out and do OK. The scrap value of that may be descent. It must weight quite a bit depending on how much armor.

Hey guys! Yea I think I might beat you to my truck and tear down haha. I'm startin tomorrow! I'll throw pics in my album. Plus when the motors gone gettin worked on I need to fix the rocker and door paint that has chipped and now flaking with lots of surface rust. I don't have mudflaps so i'm just gunna spray on some rocker panel paint. Maybe do the whole side of my truck where the body lines change.
