Yeah you could be right! I didnt hate the mountain view, but where I lived the sunrises and sunsets just werent the same. Even in Alberta they are different then out here ( as weird as that may sound!)

Richmond was definately a nice place. I think if I did it all again I would live out near abbotsford somewhere. I found its busy as hell everywhere else, including abbotsford, but its at least a little less busy.

you were too far out in the valley, that's why the sunrises and sunsets were weird, too many mountains around you. Sounds like Mission, or Maple Ridge would suit you. Do you know of or heard of Golden Ears Prov. Park, also known as Alouette Lake? That was my get away place. It's just on the outskirts of MapleRidge.

I`m sure the weather would agree with me more.
That's my dream - 20 acres, of rolling land, some of cleared, but at least 2/3 forested, about an hours drive away from the mountains, so that I can see them. You get lots of snow in the foot hills, but it's not as cold as out in the prairie!

Yeah ive been out there a few times. We had lots of friends in Mission, almost bought a house there, but it was on one hell of a hill lol.

My favorite place was out on Harrison. Would take the boat out to rainbow falls and hang out out there. There was also a set of falls between harrison and mission we used to go to lots, but I cant recall the name of them right now.

Lots of neat places out there, but for me it was still more of a fun place to visit, not live!

LOL, there is only one hill out there, and it's the one that leads up to Alouette Lake!

I hear you, I don't really want to farm, I just want lots of land and open space around me. I want to have enough room to have a couple of horses, some chickens, and 2 Heelers. And I DON'T want to see or hear the neighbors!!!

I relly like the open space too. When it was warmer I was enjoying jogging through the field and checking out the ponds and bush's on our land too. Plus the peace and quiet, I just love it!
