I'm STILL looking for an early-style block for my 46 Merc Truck. Morris' 56 is still running fine, but I have all the parts for the original engine and I'd sure like to get them off my shelf and back into a home.
Reason I'm bring it back up is 'cause I'm just getting to some clean-up and throwing out the 2nd block I bought off a member here. Looking back I'm not sure WHY the hell I even put them in my truck! One was rusted right through and the other has several holes where the piston hit it! Lesson - never buy blocks laying in the back of a barn, in the dark....
Of course I never would have sold them if they where mine either....
