For those of you in Calgary, I highly recommend Horizon Meats. A nice little butcher shop with lots of interesting exotic stuff, as well as some of the finest jerky I've ever had.

That's a good question. When breeding horses, they keep careful track of the mare and stallion bloodlines. Now I'm curious, did I eat a yakxcow or a cowxyak?
Makes ya wonder about the spam animal...they are real small takes a bunch to fill up those cans

Anyone watching the Alberta PC party leadership race? The way politics in this province work, that's pretty much how we'll pick our next premier. I voted today.
So far, about a third of the polls have reported results, but it looks like we'll be going to a second round of voting in two weeks. No candidate looks like they'll get more than 50%.
