Had some friends over and grilled up some "Alberta Tibetan Yak." It's a yak hat's been crossed with an Angus. Very similar to beef, just a touch more flavorful.
For those of you in Calgary, I highly recommend Horizon Meats. A nice little butcher shop with lots of interesting exotic stuff, as well as some of the finest jerky I've ever had.

Darn summer is almost over.
But If I don't work I cannot pay for my toys.
I'm leaving work at noon today to go on two weeks of vacation. But in order to get all my work done, I got in at 5:45 AM, normal start time is 7:30.
Good news, I'm already a good way into it. Bad news. I'm going to be dead tired for my first day of vacation.
