Happy new year folks! Been enjoying the world junior hockey tournament. I've been to two game so far, and I'm going to both semi-final games on tuesday. that should be a great day.
Yeah Morris, even the thread about how little we post can't get enough posts to maintain our attention. I think that says it all.
Not that I'm much better, I don't post much anymore.
It`s good that you do drop in.

Hello Alberta. I'm trying to visit everybody in FTE with this request. FINALLY finished all the states, so I'm asking y'all next. I've got a buddy that collects license plates. Last year he decided to try to help his neighbor (autistic/special needs boy) get a collection of his own. He just likes license plates. The list at the bottom is just what he needs to finish the collection (& y'all made it, don't see too many here from Canada, ey?). ANY & ALL plates are welcome. He will gladly reimburse postage if you want (not sure what the exchange rate is). Just drop a note in with your name & address letting him know. If anybody can help, please P.M. me here for his address. Thanks everybody.

Other plates will gladly be accepted as well.
He only has 2 Canadian plates at this point (NS and QC) so they would be greatly appreciated from our Canadian friends too, or the members from overseas even!</center>
Good afternoon Alberta and Kathy.
How`s things in the PA Chapter today? We`re getting another good break with our weather, instead of -30 like last week it`s warmed up to around freezing which is unusual for this time of the year.
Morris, sorry for the delay. I'm on the drilling side of the oil and gas biz. most of the places I deal with are either accessible only in winter, or at least "better" accessed in winter. Everything between March 15th and August 1st is iffy at best.
Lucky for me, I'm based out of the office, so I can stay warm while the guys on the rigs freeze thier butts off.

No problem, when you mentioned that cold weather was good news for your work I suspected you might be connected with oil fields. A friend of mine that works in the Sask side feels the same way, melting means shut down for a while, he just started new job doing horizontal boring.
Yep, it's a beautiful job, I get to be happy no matter what the winter is like. Cold is good for work, snow is good for skiing, and warm is good for the wife and kidlet.
