Yeah the cost of metal roofing is 2 shingle jobs.
My realtor friend it actually increases the value of your property for resale. People look at it as no shingling expenses, unless damaged in a storm. Then insurance handles it.
In rain we hardly hear it except in heavy downpours or hail.
I looked at not having to do the roof again. I done enough shingling of my homes over the years.

Spent the last four days volunteering at the Folk Festival. Was so busy, I didn't get a chance to spend any time in the beer garden. To compensate, I drank a beer while I gave me daughter a bath tonight.

Volunteering there is a pretty good deal. Work 16 hours, and you get a free 4 day pass, food every day, even when you aren't working. they throw some excellent partied every night after the festival is over, but I can't stay up that late usually.

A glorious weekend it was. Caught up on some chores, took my sweetheart out for her birthday dinner, took a ride on my motorbike and relaxed. Life is good.

It was a nice weekend here too, now we`re in for more rain. At least it won`t be really hot for a while.

Tried to do work here. It only got to 26, but was very humid. Everytime I moved buckets of sweat would roll down me.
I emptied my 85's truck box of junk I cleaned up around the yard. I started to get up on the roof to prepare to do work for metal roofing. It was just too much.
It just seemed everything I did zapped my strength in the humidity.
So a bit of rain tomorrow should help. With things cooled I should get things done then.

You're right 66gpw about the humidity. It's tough to work in that. I tire easily. It's fairly dry in Lethbridge usually, but we've been feeling it. On another note, I'm looking for a spare stock wheel for my 1966 Mercury pick-up. Any leads?? Cheers - Paul

I may have one here. Can you PM me the measurements of the rim. I think they are narrower than the newer trucks. I know I have maybe two rims. One is from the 50's This other Maybe what you are wanting.
