yeah, i really want to build up my truck, and start with an sas, but i herd you need a 6 inch lift to clear the ttb crossmembers (which you cant just cut off cause ther part of the frame) and i cant put a lift on first because it would require different ttb parts, so i got to save up and buy a lift and a d60 (or hopefully a parts truck with a d60) and then try and put it all together at one time in some sort of massive gay project that will prob take me longer than 9ford5
so i just went to check out that website pirate 4x4, man did it make me feel inadequate, i had to run back to fte with my tail between my legs lol, anyway do you guys have accounts on pirate?
Pirate is not a newb friendly place...
I do alot of reading there, pitch in my 2 cents when i see fit, but i do alot of reading and alot of researching there.
You can get by with a 4" lift but you have to trim your crossmember...
You suspension for your ttb will not swap to the 60swap, you will be happier with coil springs in the long run...
Its the route im going, im still lookin for a 60 thats not on the east coast and they dont want 2k for...

are you telling me i should get rid of the front leaf spring set up altogether and go for coils? how much of a difference does it make off road?
There are quite a few here that have a pirate account. I do but rarely post much. There is alot of good info to be found over there. But if you have a problem with anything other than offroad stuff then it sucks.
Got this from a place that builds 'em here in San Antonio. Similar to Ranch Hand (also built here) Added the brackets and lights myself and my own quickie license plate install. (I didn't like where it was originally-bolted to the mesh at top center)
