Hey So I am looking to build some bumpers for my 79 Bronc.
What do you think about 1,1/2'' Tubing and 1/8'' Plate for these designs? While i'm at it, What do you think about this design itself?
X2. I would suggest, since it appears you're incorporating a winch, that you have a removable top plate/cover for connection of the winch's remote control. Not sure if your mock-up is designed with an angled top plate/cover, or if that is the remote control attachment opening.
Here is the front and rear bumpers that I recently built. The rear I originally built for a 94 F250 I got last fall, but I found this 97 F350, so I swapped the rear bumper with the 94, and built the front to go with it. Main tubes are 4" schedule 40. Still need to build some side rails to match and also paint the tool box black.
