can the general public get them after the cops are thru? i've never cared for cudas, but folks i like and respect like them, so i try to be accomodating
no one has announced a plan for when they are through with them.
they may do what some school districts do, which is sell them off to other agencies.
the problem with allowing a civilian to buy one, is that it is built to be a cop car.
the rear compartment is separate from the front, integrated lights, integrated sirens, push bars, everything a current crown vic, lumina, or charger has, this one has, but built into the frame of the car. http://carbonmotors.com/pdf/comparison.pdf
read that, go to the site i posted earlier.
you can see why I doubt it will be sold off to the public
I like any and all muscle cars. I'm not so much a fan of European cars, but I certainly won't hesitate to say that they're no laughing matter.
(They just aren't as awesome as American iron :P)
The idea is great, but I gotta ask: Since this car is a totally new vehicle, not using Ford, Chevy, Chrysler, etc. compatible parts, isn't it going to be expensive, or at least difficult, to get parts for these? Especially if the company is just starting out, new replacement parts might be scarce for a while.
I think they sell the cars back to Carbon Motors when they are done. They should not even sell the old Crown Vics to the public. There are A Lot of thugs rollin around here with the old Crown Vics trying to make them look like cop cars.

which is another reason Ford made it so you can not buy Crown Vics directly from the Dealer in the US.
or Mexico, Some European countries, and a lot of middle eastern countries sell them
eh.
50% of the Autobahn Interceptors are Diesel BMWs and Mercedes vehicles. they work just as well as the Gas counterparts. Oh, except they save the Police force lots of money thanks to the extra mpg
