Looks good Scott, can't wait to see finished project. I know that lack of funds feeling. I may sell the shortbed to fund a diesel project, since it's a week end driver.
Thanks Tony. I've been looking for a wrecked 05-06 Superduty with a 6.0 to pull the entire drivetrain out of for this. I actually found a real decent one, body was a total loss but everything I wanted was good, it just isn't in the budget now.
I 2nd that about the funds! Now that i am married and have a baby on the way, my truck buying has halted (i'll get to buy baby toys though that maybe i can play with too). We will be building a '78 stepside very soon, have plans on putting an addition on the house and all that good stuff. It is all worth it though!
Looks good bro!
Are you going to paint it silver and black like your other '79s?
When you finish it you need to go take a picture with all three of them together.
Can't wait...Subscribed.
that is beautiful work. im interested in your color choice as well.
any big plans for the interior or pretty much stock?
Thank you. The trucks color is going to be the same as the dash. It is a Chrysler gray metallic. As far as the interior it is pretty much going to be left stock. I found a set of black XLT door panels for the front and rear doors and I used an NOS black dash pad.
Still have to order the woodgrain glovebox piece and the Ranger XLT emblem to finish the dash off.
