Very nice work. That's roughly the color I've been planning to paint my truck, and my track car.

Looking good. Are you able to finish it before it gets cold again this year?

Unless he had issues with them, I'm assuming he is running the factory setup. You can have dual tanks on a crew cab.

I certainly hope so. Business has picked up so that is a bonus.

Gas Tanks

I was unaware that the crews ever came with a dual tank bed...I know he has one on the truck..but around here at least..dual tank short beds are very rare...most trucks with a short bed around here are single tank only...Next question...anyone know what tank is used for the front tank? is it a smaller one than what would be on a long bed 4x4 or??

OMFG Ranger, I'm in love with it. I always admire your other trucks, but it's cool to see this almost complete.

Dual tanks in a crew is rare. IIRC, most have both the doors but never got the rear tank. I'll have to get the specs on the tank when I get home, it is a stock setup.

Thanks Dforgy.

I'm so slow I just realized it's a Shortie!
The Crew-Cab aspect off set it....
Yes, ShortBed's with 2 tanks are rare, in fact, I don't think I've ever seen one, or If I have, I didn't notice, I always just seen the rear tank in a Shortie.
Can't wait for more pictures.

Got the A/C box on, it went pretty easy.

I love it. Ranger429 'Donor' truck is in better condition the 1/2 the 73-79 trucks I see around here.

Great job!!!
