My 79 crewcab build thread (56K pics inside)
Looks like the formica countertop is going to work perfect. Now it is off to the local fabric store to see what kind of material I can come up with.

I also got the back of cab sanded and the front of the box is done.

Hopefully it will be in primer within a week so I can get it block sanded. I just have to see when the body shop has an opening for his spray booth.

Love it all
Looks like a ton of fun... I used a 5' x 4" section of MDF (speaker box board) to block my bedsides. Works excellent with dry guidecoat and a second person keeping even pressure on the board. I'm certain this is going to be VERY noice.

Thank you guys.
Thanks, I am going to be looking for black vinyl material. I'll use a piece of 1/4-3/8" foam padding to make it look like a Lariat headliner.
Test fit of the headliner. It looks like I need to take about a 1/4" off each side and 1"off the back. From this dry run it looks like it will work perfect. I still have to grind off the center support section where the original plastic clip mounted to.

Now to get this back on topic - any pics of the headliner "mocked up" and in place?
