Weather won't be in my favor anymore Bob. All I really need is one more 70+ degree day and I could get the sealer sprayed.

Looks awesome though, can't wait to see the finished product.
Thanks! Right now I'm probably out close to 500 with the body work, primer material and headliner. Add in the NOS fenders and doors it is another 1500.

wow, you are really moving along rapidly. i don't have the time to do the many things i want to. i guess i should dedicate my spare time to just one project at a time, then i could get at least one thing finished. (my wife would vote for me to hurry up and complete our main bathroom remodel first). your crewcab is really taking shape nicely.

Just so you guys know. That "bronco" dome light is the same light used on XLTs from 80-94 Fseries

I saw that dome light and was wondering if it would work in my reg. cab, with some mods of course. If I remember right they used those same dome lights in LTDs too. I was only about 4-5 years old when my parts had one, but I swear I remember that being the same style dome light. I just remember the map lights and thought they looked like eyes.

Well I got the final coat of primer sprayed and sanded with the last couple of good days we had here. All that is left is some detail sanding and spraying on the sealer then paint. Decided to spray it myself so I'm going to pickup a nice HVLP gun. My other gun is now a primer gun.

Finally it's all one color even if it is just primer. Underside of the hood and engine compartment will get a full detail before it is done.

After a long day of sanding today. I wet sanded the hood and fenders and the cab and doors were dry sanded.

Looks awesome, alot of money, hard work, and time you are putting into it. I wish I had your patience and skill to do that with some of my trucks. Do you show your trucks or are they occasional drivers?

Thanks! I don't show them, just basically drive them a bit and let them collect dust. The Bronco is my DD when the weather breaks.

I see, your trucks are very nice looking. I can't wait for the weather to break out this way too. I won't drive most of mine either cuz of the salt. Do you have a set goal that you want the crew done or is it just work as you have spare time?

I wanted to have it painted already so I could of put it back together over the winter. Lack of work means no funds for the toys so it was put on hold for a while. Hopefully it won't be much longer now. When you have 2 completed projects it is hard to talk the wife into letting me spend extra money on the 3rd.

Looking good ranger429!!! I know what you mean about lack of work, and shortage of extra funds for the toys. I am in the same boat lately. I have the time now to work on the projects, but not the extra funds. Let's hope for a better economy this year. Then we can get back to spending extra money on our toys.

Thanks. I have never sanded so much on one truck before. It should look very straight when it is done.
