I forgot to mention the other night when I was at your shop (thanks again for the End Mill Cutter) that I was concerned about your bumper alignmemt. One thing that gave me some trouble was my alignment for the reciever. I wanted mine behind the license plate so that it would be completely concealed when not in use and it would also provide me a place to mount my license plate. Using a small piece of tube and a flat piece of sheetmetal provided a quick and easy method of mounting. One pin and the plate is out, however, getting access to the pin is not all that easy.
Just want to give you a heads up and let you know what kind of things I went through when mounting the reciever. It appears that yours will actually be below the bumper,,,,,,,,that right?
Thanks for the heads up but I did make sure to look at all that 1st. See the hole in the middle of your stock x-member (below the hitch)? My hitch is down there. It should be well below either the stock bumper or whatever custom one I make.
I was looking at raising it up like yours (I really like your system on red) but I wanted to keep that area open a bit more in case I add a winch there later - as I still can't figure out if I want/need to go out back with one or up in front.
somebody please walk me through this.. i have the images on photobucket but i dont know how to put them up .. its pathetic..teens are supposed to know how to use computers
If you are using Photobucket, simply place your cursor over the desired pic then a box with several options will appear. Select the IMG code (last selection) by clicking on the code. Copy this code and paste it in the text you are typing, it will show the code in the message box and you will only see the code. If you would like to view this before you post, click on "Go Advanced" and you will be able to view your pic.
The IMG code is the key, simple copy and paste this, and your pic should appear.
