Damn dave, tungsten. That's practically unbreakable. How did you manage that?
I did figure my fan out. it was caked in mud and a bottom bracket broke off so it was unbalanced and shaking like crazy on the frame. I honestly need a new fan already, which pisses me off since this is my 2nd one from the junk yard which didn't last at all. I think I'm going to order a brand new summit fan or something.
So did you go through the middle or the ends again? That hole is a killer, I"m still shocked we made it through as easily as we did the day we went together. I'm thinking about maybe hitting the dessert today since I didn't make it down there earlier this week. Probably only stay an hour or so, you should try to take some time and come down. I can wait for you if your game. I work till 4 so sometime after that.
I really don't know how I broke it. I had rubber gloves on and was ripping my steering box apart on my wheeler to replace the cracked sector shaft. I got thirsty, so I pulled the gloves off to go in the house, and when I pulled the left one off, the ring just fell off in pieces. I have the tinniest scratch on my finger, so I don't see how it broke.
I really don't know what to say about your fan. If you do buy a new one, make sure the cfm rating is as high as possible, up around 3000 or better is needed if I remember righ.
I was on the east side of the hole, but the one back tire was down in the rut that Chevy was stuck in, and the other one was almost in it too. The front tires where up on that high spot(where my pickup was when I pulled the chevy) it was interesting to say the least. Lol
That's what I've been using. But just one. This one I have now, the low burned out withing a day or two, now only the high works, but its still limping along.
I really wish I didn't throw the mechanical fan and shroud. I'd be putting that back on.
TGIF is right! This week really seemed to drag by. Maybe its because of the anticipation for the nice weather were finally suppose to have. Three weeks of rain and clouds can really get to a guy. But I guess having mud to play in helps pass the day by.
Dave, did you finish your wheeler up to test it out before the big weekend? Couldn't ask for much better conditions. Muddy as hell but sunny and warm

Rezvani's Latest Post-Apocalyptic Monster Is a Ford F-150 Raptor Underneath
NOpe, have to hook up the power steering pump yet and bleed the system.
BUT, that gets put on hold, the rear spring hangers on the back of my DD are rusted to ****, and one is half broke, so I have to fix that tonight, or start it, and finish when I get back to town. I'm runnin to Casselton for my cousins Bday party tomorrow. So the wife and I will take her Jeep this time around.
Yeah rust seems to be a pretty serious problem with these trucks. I guess that should encourage me to wash the mud off the underside of the truck after every outing. I've checked the frame mounts and trans and transfer case mounts but I really need to check over the whole underside someday. Might prevent a serious problem.
