lmao. i know the feelin. well, all id have to do is weld the tube to the flange that goes into the cat. basically, im gonna cut, hack and saw the old system out startin right behind that flange. then reuse like one exhaust hanger and have a little kickdown right in front of the rear axle.
Dave, I noticed in a different thread you mentioned the ttb front is high pinion and needs reverse cut gears. Does a strait axle d44 use reverse cut too? If not I guess my front gears won't switch over for the conversion like we were thinking. Do you have any contact info on the 78 in menoken? I'd like to check it out and see whats all wore out.
75ish-96 half ton Ford uses the same gears in the front. Infact I ordered ones that are listed for a 76-79 ford for my 94. I'd have to talk to a buddy of mine to get the contact info on it. Its his cousins pickup. It is in a fulltime 4x4 pickup, so it could prob use all new bearings and that crap bepending on the mileage.
