How about bronco center caps or something similar, don't mean to be buggin' you, but I'm having a real hard time finding them. That' all I have left to do before she goes to the body shop

Now that looks GREAT! How did you fit a 12.50'' on a factory rim? I'd like to fit 12.50's on my 15x7's!

I didn't. Those OEM rims also come in 15 x 8 and that's what I'm running on the back.

15 X 7's up front.

I'm confused. What size rims are those with the 33x12.5's? I have 15x7's.

I got a new set of spring perches for the rear axle yesterday.

By flipping the axle on top of the springs plus the thickness of the perches should net about 5" out back. If I need more, I'll redrill the hangers and move them up or use a longer shackle.

A "C" notch will probably be needed to clear the axle and frame.

I'm still deciding what to do up front. I'm thinking JDM Dream Beams and shorter coils. I have also been contemplating bagging the whole thing with Lincoln Mark VII air bag setup.

Yeah, I think it's going to be pretty cool.

I made even more progress today. I'll update the post with some new pics later tonight.

I have to go pick up my daughter in a few minutes and I'm having some issues with my wireless router. I think I'm going to smash it into about a thousand pieces...

I've heard that too many times.I'm doubting we'll see those pics til tomorrow.

But back on-topic,Like Sycostang,i'm pretty interested to see how those 33's will look on a dropped truck, especially with an aggressive tread pattern like that.

Ok, I really had no intentions on going back to the yard today cause it was even hotter than yesterday. But I did.

I saw some stuff there yesterday and I wasn't going to grab it this week, but I figured if I didn't go back today there was a GOOD chance it would not be there when I went back.

In any case, I grabbed a pair of doors off of a 94 F150 that were just too good to pass up for $30 each. They even had power windows and locks, but someone already got the mirrors or they would have been mine as well (not that I would use them on the Rat Rod). They door panels were also gone, and I figured if I was paying for them anyway I might as well get something I could use. There was a really nice Saddle Tan interior in a truck the next isle over, so I grabbed the door panels out of it and put them on these doors.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them yet, but I liked that they have the nice chrome detail strip around them. That strip matches a little chrome accent piece on the 72 Alpha Romeo seats that I got two weeks ago. I'm either going to use SEM paint and make them black, or just hang on to them and keep looking for a set in black (which are very hard to find).

Here is a pic of one of the doors:

I've learned to do stuff on my own, and hanging them by yourself can be a pain, but this worked out well:

I know it's only a door, but it looks a hell of a lot better than the rusty piece of crap that was on there:

Pics of the really nice door panels that I scored:

And finally the Alpha Romeo seats. I can't believe how good they look in the truck. They have the nice square lines of the 80/86 body style. My friend is going to re-stitch them for me, the thread is dry rotted from sun exposure. Once he gets done with them, they'll be good as new:

Looking good, Stosh. I've used the hydraulic jack as an extra set of hands before too for parts I couldn't quite handle while working alone. Works out well.
