That pintle hook is just bolted to the reciever tube reinforcement?

Yeah, I am surprised it didn't just pop right off.

You must have better horseshoes than I have.

You can tell the guys you work with I am running 25 pounds of boost on my 6.9.
Over 40K miles on the rebuild now.

Yup thats how its mounted and no i don't tow with it. We PDIed some trucks that came with them and the customer wanted them remove so I have 3 more in my tool box. I just put it there to protect the bumper. When i get the money I will buy a the reciver mount for it. I took the sling out there expecting to hook on to the safty chanin holes but the hooks on the cains were too small so I figured I would give this a shot.

I think it was the one time my horse shoes were working.

Oh And they were saying it wouldn't hold the boost because of the compression ratio so they wouldn't cout yours. Some of them are already making bets as to how long befor i blow this one up. I don't remeber blowing the second one up although several people insist it blew up because I "recycled my used oil" wich cause my EGTs to go up and say if I do it again it will melt this one too.

Thats what I said. Yeha I've had several people come up and ask me if it was true that i blew it up running used motor oil I said no. One guy swears if it hadn't gone from cavitation I would have melted it. Funny since the less than 3 gallons of motor oil it held mixed with the 20 or more of diesel I forget what my big tank hods made no difference on my pyro wich every one assumes I dont have and I'm just slaping stuff together and running a turbo on a motor never intended for one with no way of monitoring boost and EGT. When will people relise I'm not as stupid as they look.

Heck, I ran about a mixture of 50% new cotton seed oil and diesel last summer without any problemos, a little oil never hurt anything

These things will burn almost any oil that will still flow through a pipe. Guys on OBN have racked up 1000s of miles on strait motor oil. I can't say I've had any problems with ULSD even though I never run additive, but having a little oil in the system does more good than harm.

Just watch the EGTs and make sure the filter(s) don't clog up.

Asuming you can spool it, actual you may be able to since its the waste gated one if i were you i would lengthen the waste gate actuator as much as you can with it still holding the gate closed testdrive and re adjust thats what I'm going to do with my 6.9 sine i don't know where the stock setting is any more.

I ran it a bit more and i'm definatly going to hae to take some timing out of it.

i already adjusted the rod most of the way out, as i dont realy want to have to adjust it with the turbo in the truck, cause it is very tight in there.
