Looks like I wont be going back to work wrenching...my back wont take it...now the fun begins...seeing if I can get a permanent disability...
from the MRI report...
Multilevel disc bulges and facet hypertrophy throughout the lumbar spine.
Combined with congenitally narrow canal, there is significant spinal stenosis at multiple levels.
Multilevel significant neural foraminal stenosis present as well.
Findings at most levels have progressed since the 1998 exam.

Sorry to hear that mark. I pray they get you on disabillity quick. I know how that crap goes. My stepdad is always fighting with them.

Damn Mark I am sorry to hear that. Did the doctor have any suggestions like PT or surgery to help it?

nope...pt will relieve the symptoms but not repair it...
surgery...they would have to replace all of the lumbar disks

That sucks to hear Mark.
Up here sometimes instead of permanent disability, they retrain you for something different that you can do (or at least something they TELL YOU you can do haha)
That might be something to look into for ya to, if they do that down there.

i am sure they will wanna try and find me something to do, Sheldon...
they wont wanna pay me disability for the next 20 years til I am eligible to retire.

I got a long day tomorow 8-1:30 at the feed mill. I get to unload a grain car. And then I gotta work from 3:30 to 9 at fleet farm.
