Sorry to hear that, Brendan. Im glad you made your way over this way to be there with him so he got to see everyone, including Logan. You and your family will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

Well at least you can blame them for the headaches this week, Cris!

I guess I can't gripe too much then. I was psyched about all the good weather we had last week, now the highs are in the 30s/lower 40s. Single digits in March?? YUUUUUUUCCCCKKK!!!! I dumped the last of my white bottle of DK in my truck -- time to switch to the gray stuff...

Fall, Christmas (I refuse to call is winter) and Spring break are all 2.5 weeks. It's just long enough to make me crazy. They are on a modified year round, which basically means their summer break is 2-3 shorter to make up for the longer breaks during the year.

Do all the schools there do it that way? That would suck. How do families where both parents are working do that?

How's everyone been doing today?

Looks like we may finally be done with the white crap for the year. Of course now that I say that we'll get dumped on...

Most districts only have a week off, the one my girls are in are one of only a handful who do it this way. Kids would just have to be in daycare if both parents work if they were too young to stay home alone. That is one of the things keeping me home still. There is no way Troy could stay up during the day while I worked. I will have to look for a salon that will let me work all night shifts when the kids are on all of their breaks.
