I'm glad you feel better Joe!!! How's your wife doing after her surgery?

 

She's good now. Had an emergency root canal last week, other than that, pretty good. Gall bladder's out a couple months now, and her body's adjusted to it. She was sore though. And she's got a cool scar too.

 

Gotta love a cool scar!! I'm glad she feeling good after everything she's been through lately!

Jacob I agree with your decision. Unless you are some all star athlete and you need to play sports for some type of free ride through college, I wouldn't worry about feeling like you need to play sports. Do whatever will make you happy.

I fixed my computer on my own YIPPEE SKIPPEE! I had accidentally blocked images from this site. I am tickled cause i worked to figure it out on my own.

I got in a bi**h a$$ fight yesterday with a dad and his son who seemed to be on the drunk side of life and they challenged me and well I took em on. I had just mowed damn near an acre with a frikken push mower and ran over a baby bunny so life kinda sucked about then. They started chit and they got it back ten fold. My son in law ended up squaring the son in the face busted him up the dad got chit beat outta him so then just as dad got in his car and spun around and said Im gonna kill you c&*t and ran for me I jumped outta the way and cops who were at ball game across street pulled their van in front of him... long story short they were hurting we weren't as I had 12 cable guys and a daughter with PMS on my side. But I stood my ground and got my share in. Cops just told son in law that poetic justice happened they totaled their car in the very early a.m hours and dad is not doing well. I was told told save parking lot scrapping for others. So another adventurous evening at motel hell.....o

I will have my Holland for 6 weeks this summer plus I get some bonus time in August while her dad has her at big Louisville car show. Jim JL Holland and I are going to see new HP movie while they are here.

I got a pretty busy day ahead of me, ordering some stuff for the truck, cleaning the house and then off to work until 10.

Weather herre in B'ham was a cool 45°F this morning... feels really nice! Sorry, Cris.... don't mean to keep rubbing it in... just excited to experience it this time of year!

Our office normally works 9-4's (9 hrs M-Th, and 4 hrs on Fri morning), but they also toss in some 4-10's around several holidays throughout the year... like THIS ONE coming up... woooHOOOooooo... I have a four-day weekend this time!

Best news for me right now is that a critical player in our management team just got promoted as VP over the Pulp & Paper Industry engineering groups (in which I work), so we have a very strong leadership now who has tons of high-ranking industry contacts to hopefully bring more business into the office. I've been managing to stay at 25-80% billability the last several weeks, and this week's looking like a good 50%-er at least... not quite what I like (100%), but better by far than NOTHING.
