Yea. It was leaking right at the fuel filter. For now we just went to advanced autoparts and got a generic in-line filter until we can get a proper new one.
What's funny is that it is the same filter I have installed on my lawnmower.
And Jim I don't know if you guys found J-L's smiley face earring, but I didn't find it when I swept up the shop. I did find her bookmark though. If you want it let me know and I'll mail it up to ya.
The 95 7.3 needs new front glass so I figure I'll see if those guys want to take a crack at installing my mirror because
I tried following the instructions for doing it yesterday, but it just confused the hell out of me.
Glad that it was an easy fix and not a rotted line.
Her earring is either in the truck or somewhere where I parked on Sat. She changed her earings then. No biggie though. She said that you can keep the bookmark so you won't lose your page when you read.
You going to laugh at this one. I got a call from the authorities in FL asking my whearabouts this weekend. It seems that I once again was accused of spousal abuse. After talking to this lady for a while telling her that I can absoutly prove that I was not in FL this weekend. With many witnesses including a ton of people on FTE. She admitted that she was very hesitant to call me because the story of how when and where changed a few times during the "making of the report". Kinda funny if you think about it.
Well if you need someone to vouch for your whereabouts you've got my number. I'll set em straight.
Hate to turn the O/T into a tech thread, but you guys respond the fastest here so...
Roughly how big should the hole for the Zoodad be?
I cannot remember how big mine is. I think it's like 2"x4" or so. I used a drill to drill holes and then used a Dremel tool with a rotary file to cut the fibergalss out. The little cutter wheels that a lot of guys reccomend are a pain in the *** to use. A rotary file makes fast work out of it.
I'll be honest about something though. I noticed no difference in EGTs after doing mine.

Thanks, Scott. I think I'm gonna hold off on that for tonight.
By the way your quote rocks.
Anyways I'm off to the land of make-believe! I mean... playing with my truck even though I can't drive it yet.

Thats just ridiculous. 20+ hours to come down for some abuse?! Thats a heck of a lot of fuel...
On a lighter note...
I just got my BS Lab report back on moms F150. Seems like dad is crazy and the engine is wearing perfectly...
He kept tellin mom shes gonna need to replace the engine soon and mom asked me what I could do to shut him up...I said gimme 22.50 and a day to change your oil and we will!
How many people would I offend if I had a t-shirt that said that?
You should so get one. The site where Susan got it has several that are cool. I cannot post the link here as FTE will block it. If you're interested, shoot me a PM, or message me at Facebook, and I will hook you up.
