It is said that engineers take 3 minutes to resolve this, architects 3 hours and doctors 6 hours, salesmen typically ignore it altogether and throw away the challenge, and lawyers' get hung up trying to argue that "this just proves that 1 plus 1 does NOT equal 2".

What is the 6th number?
1, 2, 6, 42, 1806, ___???
I'll post the answer tonight.
the sixth number is 1, since I am in sales I started to ignore this but was feeling rather rebellious this morning
Back in Colorado we saw dust devils a lot, but never haboobs. I guess you have to live in the desert.
Pete, Sheldon, what do you two have planned today?
Dust devil would be like a mini tornado?
I dont have much planned today, got a few guys coming over to the place to pick up their quotes for a septic field and I have to head to town to get a few bearings and a belt for my mower.
I assume your working hard at er today?
Moose thats a crazy story! Although I do love a good ol fist fight haha.
Too bad I missed out on the rodeo. But we saw some movie Sat night. Tried a new restaurant for lunch yesterday, Memphis Blues. Pretty good. Today I slept till the crack of noon, then got my wireless fixed. I don't go back to work till Thursday.
Thats awesome Joe....enjoy the next few days off to.
How did the truck drive on the way home? Notice any difference? I had a tough time falling asleep last night, hoping everything was good.
Anywho, hello everyone.
This has been one of the worst days I have had in a long time. Time to go focus on some baseball and then home for a few adult beverages.
Truck was good on the way home Mike. Thanks for asking. Still may bring it in for an alignment but not off by much. And the "clunk" is gone. YEAH!!!
Why the bad day?

Our office normally works 9-4's (9 hrs M-Th, and 4 hrs on Fri morning), but they also toss in some 4-10's around several holidays throughout the year... like THIS ONE coming up... woooHOOOooooo... I have a four-day weekend this time!
Best news for me right now is that a critical player in our management team just got promoted as VP over the Pulp & Paper Industry engineering groups (in which I work), so we have a very strong leadership now who has tons of high-ranking industry contacts to hopefully bring more business into the office. I've been managing to stay at 25-80% billability the last several weeks, and this week's looking like a good 50%-er at least... not quite what I like (100%), but better by far than NOTHING.
Glad you are at least working Pete.

My son in law ended up squaring the son in the face busted him up the dad got chit beat outta him so then just as dad got in his car and spun around and said Im gonna kill you c&*t and ran for me I jumped outta the way and cops who were at ball game across street pulled their van in front of him... long story short they were hurting we weren't as I had 12 cable guys and a daughter with PMS on my side. But I stood my ground and got my share in. Cops just told son in law that poetic justice happened they totaled their car in the very early a.m hours and dad is not doing well. I was told told save parking lot scrapping for others. So another adventurous evening at motel hell.....o
Thanks... I'm actually working and getting paid for a full 40 hours, but can only charge a limited amount of time to client contracts, which is what I call my "billable" time. Since I can;t charge all the time I work, ai'm putting even more time into the projects than "allowed" so I can make the resutls even better and for improved client satisfaction... got to make sure the clients are really happy with our work so the company will continue to float me when I can't bill out at 100%.
Also, after spending nearly 20 years in manufacturing before coming to the formal engineering side of the business, I'm still learning the formalized procedures and formats with which we need to do our work, so spending the extra time helps me climb up that learning curve even faster and get more efficient at doing things "the company way". Plus... it keeps me busy so I don't have to sit around worrying as much about not having much to do.
BTW, Jay... your package is getting mailed around lunch today... the post office didn't fix anything with their machine yesterday.
