Yeah Mark they build it right on site, load er up and drive er out here, set it up on the basement we are getting built, the whole nine yards!
We chose to do a bunch of the plumbing, electrical, sewer and fresh water though, in the end it will save us TONS and we are very capable of doing it, and have contacts in each field that can sign off on the work.
At first we kinda debated getting an RTM over a stick built, but in the end we did a lot of research and found no difference in any of the quality of materials, or anything really. The only difference we found is that some people liked to have the house built on site when it came to attaching the house to the basement, and some people didnt like the house being moved. The whole move from their yard to ours is only about 17 miles though, and it was way cheaper then getting one built on site.
I think on site was about 225 per square foot to build, and this rtm cost us 90 bucks a square foot to build, but we had to get our own basement.
In the end we will save about 50 grand though, that cash is going to my 40x60 shop!
That's my oldest, Riley and her fake picture smile
At least she doesnt have the dodge pictures gene!

I would hope so! That would be great just to get all of us in ONE place...I could see the cops getting called out more than once!
Mark how come ya got screwed outta 300 bucks on tax return??
Tristan, good call on the cops, although good luck trying to get ALL of us under control haha!!
Mark, 40x60 isnt gonna be HUGE, but it will be more then enough yeah. I wanted to get a 40x80 at first, but by the time I throw the in floor heat, and get a geothermal system good enough to heat it, plus the 6inch concrete floor, that stuff adds up!
I didnt get screwed out of the $300...I got it last summer...turbotax messed up and didnt ask me if I had recieved my stimulus check yet.
I am heading out to the grocery store...at least $100 is going to food!
I am expecting a check from the insurance company for nearly $900 next week...then I have to get more paperwork from the Dr to get more...they are paying me $459 a week for disability...minus the first 2 weeks ( screw you clause)..but thats still better than the $200 a week from unenjoyment...

Looks good Sheldon. If you have any questions on the electrical let me know. I'll help you in any way that I can.

Thanks Jim! I am actually a 2nd year apprentice electrician (in hours I dont have the schooling) so i have a decent handle on the electrical, for the most part!
I will admit though, Im starting to forget alot of that stuff already, it was about 3 years ago when I last worked as an electrician.
