it's been a week now.
worked last Thursday, and had 4 days off.
then 4 days this week.
top speed is 50 mph, stop for morning break, lunch, and afternoon break.
4 loads, 125 miles, in 8 hours. this "job" is killing me.
here is a crappy pic of my new ride. it is dirty, and was taken with a cell phone camera.
the truck is 11 years old, and i broke 200,000 miles on it yesterday.
this truck is in showroom condition, and the A/C blows 42º when it is 92 outside.
full power everything in it, except for no auto trans.

Yes, Tom, that truck is old enough to vote and drink. Neither of which I can do yet. Not legally at least.
It really needs to be retired in favor of a newer, better powered truck. It's gotta be 275 or 300hp with an 8LL behind it. Older trucks had no power behind em. It's good in the low gears but man does it top out quick. Leaks enough oil that we only have to change the filter every once in a while and top her off. We might fix it if it was even possible to see where it was leaking from. Everything under the hood has a layer of dust and oil and grease mixed together to form a protective coating.
My new pass-time. Assorted hardwoods.
There's 4 piles there 3 are complete. I haven't measured them out but I do know they're 7 or 8 feet tall because I stop when they're about a foot over my head and I'm 6 feet tall.
