howdy all. been at work since 8am, it's now 6:24pm and i have another hour or so left.... but I rode the CBR in, and by that time, it'll be a clear ride home.

funny thing about Colorado. My normal commute is ~25 minutes in the dry. Snow.... could be 50-ish minutes. Rain... holy crap!!! 1hr 10min+!!!! and if it's raining outside, I can take the dogs for a 3hr walk, and won't see a soul outside unless they're running to/from a vehicle. Ridiculous.

WOW... OT really dies on the weekends now. Yesterday was gorgeous, and I was meant to be at the Denver Outlaws game last night, but about 2hrs before game time I suddenly felt like dog-doo and we didn't make it. I was asleep by 8PM I think... not sure. There's another game next Saturday night, but I'm on-call so I'll literally have to carry my laptop in case I need to work... or just skip that game too. SUCKS.

Today I'm pulling my spider to install plenum inserts and clean everything up. Should take a few hours at most, and then we'll be out on the CBR's going... somewhere. Maybe a nice run up over Loveland pass; there might still be snow up there. Quite likely actually.

Then I'll come home and "chat" with my neighbor, who has apparently taken it upon herself to do trimming on some plants on our property that she thinks should be trimmed! It'd be one thing if she came over, asked first, and we OK'd it; none of that, though! She just waits 'til we're not here to do her "duty" .... or whatever she thinks of it. I'm pretty sure she's the busy-body that complains about any nit-picky little thing that doesn't comply with the silly HOA crap. UGH. We need to go back to the Medieval Age where people just didn't have time for this petty crap b/c they were too busy just trying to survive.

I did a lot of shopping and made a potting bench today...

I think I may have to check in with my Dr tomorrow cause I to stop what I was doing 3 times today and use my inhaler...I usually use it 1 or 2 times a month.

I have an appt with the Social Security doctor June 2...oh joy...

I would be asking her to do the rest of my lawn as well if she likes doing it that much.

Afternoon, OT. Where'd everyone go? Used to be hopping in here all the time...

Talking about what we'd do if we won the lottery, hitting on Cris and Lisa shamelessly, making fun of Ed....

Driving the stupid Dodge minivan all week this week....

In a way. My turbo wasn't seating up right to the collector so we pulled the spider and it was oily. Pulled the turbo pulled the compressor housing and inside there was oily. Oil seal was shot. In the minivan til I can get a rebuild kit here.
