Lots of packing today - moving everything out into the garage so I can de-clutter and organize.
Quad won't stay running. Managed to cover myself with gasoline. I stink - bad. Think the carb is all gummed up. I have a headache now from blowing into the fuel line in an attempt to raise the float. Or is it from the raunchy gasoline fumes? Might have to come-along the damn thing into the back of my truck in a week and a half when it comes time to move. If I don't get run over by the quad in the process I'll consider it a win.
Looking at possibly buying a trailer instead of renting...for just a few hundred dollars more than I'd spend on a rental. Found a nice enclosed for $700 but the guy doesn't have the title. why do things always have to be too good to be true? Now reading up on bonded certificates here in Iowa and coming to the conclusion I don't have time to be messing around with such sillyness.

Is the trailer from Iowa?If it's from out of state some states don't title trailers
I don't worry much about trailer tags.I think I have five trailers and one tag that actually fits one of them
ain't ya glad ya stayed home instead of coming to the gtg with us Lisa??
Well...either I stay here and get covered with fuel or I go there and get chased by Jim. Hmmm....

Oh yes. It would be so awful. Speaking of awful ...you are awful good at not thinking very highly of yourself.

You will be out of state and noone will care there!
I have to get a replacement birth certificate so I can register my truck and get a florida drivers license!
Yeah, it has Iowa plates on it now...but they aren't current, ran out in Feb. Guy that owns it is claiming Iowa will reissue registration with only a bill of sale. Eventually I'll need a title for the damn thing because CO requires it for registration
What do you mean no one will care if I am out of state?

I hate them dam Fla tags, they almost doubled in price last year.My car tags are now $90 and my truck is $260.Think DL are now $50 to renew no tellin how much for transfer

Does Iowa title small trailers? In Fla the registration is basically the title. So that is all you would have to take to any other state. It has the owner transfer on it like a title would
no worries lisa you can get covered in fuel and chased around by me at RRE
I figured the latter would happen but I am not interested in doing a whole lot of wrenching at RRE. Nothing that would involve fuel. I have a headache from smelling it all day.

Iowa does title small trailers. CO is different from FL in that it requires titles. Colorado will title a trailer without a title but only if it comes from a state like FL that does not title trailers. So...if I were moving to FL it would be fine, but since I am moving to CO, I am going to have to title it.
Ya know, it occurs to me that I could buy the damned thing and deal with all the paperwork and hassle and just give it to ya, Lisa. Might be easier to transfer it to another Iowa resident.
And thank you for the compliment... I work hard at not thinking too highly of me, ya know.
