Just checking in really quick to let you know that they offer me the job and I accepted!!!! What a huge relief it is for me. I applied yesterday morning and they called yesterday afternoon to schedule an interview for 9 am this morning. By 10 I was offered the position. This is still pending on a physical and drug test. The drug test is a no brainer and I am hoping that the surgery that I had doesn't interfere with the physical. It shouldn't though.
I want to thank all of you for your support, encouragement, and most importantly being the friends that let me vent, and lean on during the past year. Each and every one of you are the best. !!
The name of the company is Pavestone. They make concrete block products patio pavers retaining wall blocks stuff like that. They sell a lot to Home Depot. I will be the only electrician for the entire plant. My "duties" are not just electrical though I will be working on hydraulic and pnuematic systems and welding and fabricating also. Pay is really good and the benefits are good too.
Gotta run for now. I will catch up later.
Congrats Jim, you really deserved this after all you've been through.
Off to work I go...........again. Can't wait until I can come home from work and NOT work.

Like I told you Jim!Good things happen to good people and you are one of them.
Only thing I ever did with glue when I was a kid was smear it all over my hand and wait for it to try and act like my skin was falling off.
I still do that on occasion....is that bad?

Go make yourself dinner...you have two hands.
Tell her you're not interested.
Go make some money.
And yes it could be much, much, much worse.
I have a feeling that's not going to work so well. If you did that to me you'd end up with a knuckle sandwich.
Knuckle sandwich...that made me chuckle a lil bit, Lisa! Havent heard that in a long time!
