Well that was one nice deck. The radius around the hot tub was sweet. I've seen some similar to that here but none as neatly done as that. Is your brother still driving that diesel VW?
trying to think of how to answer that John....I HOPE he is still driving it around. True to my family, he has stopped talking to me also...lol
Long, long story. And hell, Im not even sure I have all the details...lmao
Very impressive, Brent. I'm jealous of you guys that can take a stack of materials and have the vision to turn them into something nice like that.
I just dig holes and push dirt around. Not very imaginative which is good for me cause I can't design anything worth crap. I just don't have the attention to detail to be able to do that sort of stuff. Running a plant and watching several things all at once I can handle but details kick my butt.
But I'm going to go sleep now. I got school tomorrow.
So I get back ehre tonight, and I am for once in along time, like 5 pages behind! Then I find out some new broad is joining this OT and that bring out all the horndogs haha Its funny cause I woulda done the same thing
Welcome new broad!

Brent you do such nice work man, I wish Saskatchewan wasnt so far away, i would get ya to build my deck on the new place. Gonna be throwing a 8 man (or 20 hot women plus me man) hot tub on the deck, or off the deck, and I have basic carpentry skills. I can make it work, and make it nice, but not kickass like you do.
Yup thats it. I can walk 10 miles and probably wont be as sore as 4 hours cashiering.
I hear ya Jake, and I kinda figured that. I am more tired when I spend a day in the office then when Im throwing walls around...My body was designed for work, and I intend on working it.

Thanks very much man, thats very nice of you to say. I just look at the ground and then, sorta like a 3d simulator goes off in my head and then I start building. I had some great teachers, so i cant take all the credit. I've worked with some amazing guys. Goodnight bud, see you soon.

Hope everyone else had a kickass day today!
Thanks Sheldon, you know what sux dude, is as long as you supplied the Kokanee, and helped, Id build it for nothing. I cant stand charging my friends. Now, I'd make you come do some tractor work for me in exchange, but thats how friends should do things. but, thats if we were closer....
Yeah I know Brent, that does suck! I would gladly exchange some backhoe/dump truck services for helping build a deck. Dunno about that Kokanee though, I might have to break ya in to the Pilsner way of life haha.
On Edit: Sweet pic man! how hard is it to get up on one of them boards? Does a guy HAVE to have the tower? (my four wins doesnt have a tower cause I think they look ugly as hell lol)
pilsner huh? well, I can make exceptions. I always forget your guys' beer is stronger up there. That got me into a few situations before...lol "I've only had 4, why am I so damn messed up?!" lol man I love Canada.
well, the tower is where its at. You gotta figure, the rope is pulling you WAY up outta the water, as opposed to say pulling you up level, or downward depending on the boat. Every single person Ive taken on that boat, which is a Tige', has stood up. Even the ones that swore it wouldnt happen. Now, that being said, I learned behind a jet boat, about 2' off the water, so yeah, you can wakeboard behind anything. Hell, I boarded behind a friggin boston whaler once just to prove it. It's just harder. It's something you cant really explain, but if I get in the water (with the girls only) and teach them how to turn their hips at the right time, they'll pop right out every time.
No no no. No Pilsner. I found a new beer, CHEAP too!
Shaftebury Coastal Cream Ale.
$8/6pack.
Good stuff.
Waaay better than the Budweiser my buddy drinks. Way better than anything from Molson's or Labatt's. And, this goes without saying, but way better than Pilsner too.
Brent, next time you're up here, look for it. It's on the dark side, but it's good stuff.
Hey Ed, will do bud. Thanks by the way, both for the compliment, and my sig
This winter may prove to be fairly busy, but we shall see. I was able to get a couple contracts with the bank here for homes they have taken back, and that need work before they can sell/auction them off. It's a pretty sweet gig. Hopefully it pans out well. If things get slow or I make it down there, I'll look you up!
Thats exactly what I do! www.tmenterprisesva.com Its a little vanilla, but it gets my point across. Just so happens Im contracted with this guy til the end of the year...steady employment!
