Pete, I would find someone with a rusty jeep and transfer everything you could!

I think it just needs to be driveable to the crusher...

pull the hood, windshield, mirrors, bumpers etc!

I gotta admit, this news makes me a little sad.

Perfectly good little vehicle goes to the crusher.

Now there's a thought. May have to find out about it cause the 7.3 needs body work badly.

Yea I'm pretty disappointed, but unfortunately I don't have any say in the matter.

you may just be seeing pinkie coming back home instead of the new car.

the gooberment is not giving out them checks. that is why a lot of dealers tool them to F.O. with the CFC program. there are dealerships out there sitting on upwards of $100,000 of useless vouchers they are not going to be paid for.

and if they don't get paid for the CFC voucher, they can go after the purchaser for the money.

there are gonna be a whole lot of pissed off people without cars after this stupid program is said and done with.

to be eligable for CFC, a vehicle must be street legal. that means registered, insured, valid state inspection, and drivable with everything on it.

Yeah Tom, I got a feeling its gonna be alot of pissed off people too! I went by the local toyota dealer yesterday and it looked like a ghost town on their lot. I'd say they may have had 9 new vehicles but they had a chit pile of the trade ins with salvage on the windshield.

Not exactly the "change" that they thought they were getting.

hello everyone!

Lisa sexy hat!
I hear a tear fall every time another car or truck has to go to the crusher. I have a "brave little toaster" moment.
I shall be heading out in 3 weeks. I have 120 boxes of movies and about 50 boxes of "stuff"
I have been washing all my clothes that are in dresser drawers plastic totes etc and putting them in those vacuum sucker bags to save space. I had three complete washer loads of undies and bras. Talk about a fetish. I didn't realize I had so many. 302 pairs of undies and 87 bras. Time for therapy. I had 38 swimsuits and 220 pair of socks and the list continues. Holy Crap I could go damn near a year without doing laundry. I must drop my head in clothes shame. But I wear all of them.
So movies and clothes....my weakness.

Any word on Megawatt (Jim) and hurricane bill?
