GM can't keep up with current Camaro demand. Virtually every Camaro you you see on a dealership lot has already been paid for. They are just waiting to be delivered to the customer/picked up. For GM, the current Camaro has been a success.
lets see: will gm kill a car line that is MAKING Money?
How long has the Camaro been MIA? 7 years. So, it's possible they could kill it as they have done it before. As far as it making money, like I said that's to be expected since it just went on sell. Everybody, particularly Camaro enthusiasts are picking up these first Camaros. The sales will more than likely begin to slowly subdue over the next few years. It would be unrealistic to think that the Camaro could keep up these sale numbers through its entire product cycle.

I don't see as many enthusiasts driving them as "wannabes" if you get what I'm saying. I know several enthusiasts who are absolutely die-hard Camaro guys and they have told me that the new Camaro is, and I quote, "Uglier than s***." Retro was no doubt the best option for this car, but it doesn't just have the looks of the Challenger or Mustang. It looks a little half-a**ed to me...

I understand what your saying. I was just trying to point out that one is out of touch with reality if they think the Camaro will hold those high sell numbers for very long.
I hate to say it, but I think GM hot a homer with the Camaro. The V-6 has an incredible amount of power and will flat stomp any other V-6 available in America. I was just reading the article in CD magazine the other day when they did head to head with the Hyundai Genisis coupe. They apparently felt that Hyudai was the only other offering that could come close to keeping up with Chevy's new pony.
The Challenger is a phenom.
But, the Mustang GT500KR still gets me more excited than all the others.
