MP3 jack

Ok..i have a lariat with the center console shifter...so up above theres the black panel where the lighter and rear back up sensor switch is mounted....well i want to put in a mp3 jack there cause the one up on top annoys me that a cord is always hanging down the dash...anyone know where i can get a jack that will snap into a hole i drill in that???

Are you simply looking for a 3.5mm (or whatever the dimension is) port basically? Does your truck have the jack from the factory, or is this something you are adding?

I'm listening...I hate where they put the factory jack. Even though I live in a safe area, I'll be damned if I'm going to leave an iPod touch sitting up there.

"3.5mm stereo (f-f) panel mt. 3/8" hole"

This should accomplish exactly what you are looking to do. You will simply need to undo the factory jack, and tuck it back into the dash, then run a M-M stereo cord from it, to one end of this panel mount.

Need pics of where you're mounting it to. I want to move mine.

The nut and thread about be on the inside of your dash (or glovebox, or wherever you are mounting it). This is a panel mount (may or may not be a D hole), so all you would see on the face is the round step shown in the front of the product. You could drill damn near anywhere (Ive seen it done inside the dashboard compartment), for a stealth install that you never see.

Splice the wires and make them longer.
