I was thinking the crimp fittings too. Got the hose crimper might as well use it! Just gotta see if Napa can get any diesel rated SS braided hose...

If you can find the stuff with the teflon liner it's also compatable with Bio.

Nice job Joe!

Something to think about.
1- Heating fuel for winter use.
2- Air removal before it enters the heads.

And Joe I must say that is the cleanest motor I have ever seen. It would take me 100 cans of gunk to get mine like that.
Well the truck only had 37,000 miles on it when I did this conversion so the valley was pretty clean already.

A 7/8" freeze plug goes in the hole. Napa or any parts store will have those.

Just want to make sure I understand this, the two lines going into the sides of the new FPR are the return lines from the front of both heads and the bottom line is the return to the tank? I thought the FPR was to regulate the pressure going in not out? Maybe I'm reading my diagram wrong.

Just wondering if you can get away with using a 6.0 fuel pump if you wire it in right?

I don't see a reason why a 6.0 pump wouldn't work, but as the OP said it would just cost a little more.
