What a shock, haven't been around much this weekend and haven't been online much and see this first thing. So sad. I am so glad I made time to visit him the other week and regret not going again. I know he was suffering and he knew something more was going on. He told me several times that he knew he should be feeling better than he was. Like Pat said, he told me several times how much this forum and the friends he had here meant to him. His biggest regrets were not feeling like posting more while he was ill. As sad as it is to say by to him, I know he is finally resting better than he has in a long time.
Pat, you meant more to him than you will every know, He spoke of you like a brother. Thank you for that, both from him and from me.
Good bye Mark and God bless. You will be missed.
I didn't personally know Mark, but it sounds like he was a great friend and Marine. I'm sure he will truly be missed. I will say a little prayer for his family.
Man this is sad news I have not been on here a whole lot lately and to come and read this I just don't know what to say really just very very sad news..
Pat thanks for keeping everyone up on what was going on.

Pat, thanks again for keeping up with Mark, and keeping us informed. In the end it certainly wasn't what we wanted to hear, but some things are beyond our control. I will surely miss him.
Tristan texted me the news today, I couldnt believe it. I planned on stoping by and seeing him in march on my way to MD too. I regret not being able to swing by and meet him face to face last time I was in his neck of the woods....
