I stopped following the other thread because it was so hard to keep up... thanks for posting this Nolan. Mark, you will be missed around here for sure. I never met you, yet I feel like I knew you. God speed my friend! Condolences to the friends and family
Sorry to hear this, Friends and family of Him. sounds like a great man. He will be better off now though it is hard to feel that way now though. I know somewhat how it feels, i lost most of what i had by the age of 12.. good to see he lived a long life. Sounded like a cool dude, most certainly missed. my heart goes out to friends and family.
Nice post Lisa! I repped Mark on his very last post... just in case his family ever gets on here I thought they would find comfort it seeing how well he was respected here. I can't believe what a funk this has put me in...
Mark could be "rough around the edges" but that's one of the things I liked about him. He wasn't apologetic for who he was, but never tried to be offensive or hurt anyone's feelings. He for D**N sure would stand his ground though. Truly, an honorable man that will be sorely missed in this world.
Mark, my friend, if you're catching that sunrise or burning up some dragstrip in the sky, let it be known that you have left an impression and will be missed. Job well done, Marine.
