Good to see your home and on the road to recovery. Look me up on the RHN my cell # is there, if you need anything I am just down the road from you. I'm on the road to the left coast but will be back next week. If you feel up to it we can do a meet & greet.
Stay well, Shack.
I didn't go through what you did,but the last time I was layed up for a length of time was almost 9 years ago for almost 2 months.I was home and could make the short trip to the bath room
After I was able to make it to the dining room to eat within about 3 weeks I could make it to the end of my driveway which is about 50 ft starting with some pit stops along the way
The last little bout was in hospital 5 days and took bout that long to manage the same trip
Don't push it hard, just a little at the time when you feel like it
I hadn't been on here in a while so I missed this whole thing, and just read all 43 pages. Mark, glad to hear you're out of the hospital and doing relatively well. Hope your recovery is quick.
Mark, just hang in there. We are here and if you need any help, like a nail in a stick to poke you in the *** to make you move, just let us know.
It is going to take you a while to get going. Just do not over do it. Take your time. And if you see a fantastic pair of boobies, don't chase them, let them come to you.
Keep that head up. I am planning a vist around the 14th (with Barry and Don). If you are up to it, we will go out and will let you show us the sights in your neck of the woods.
Still can't type. Hand really concerns me. Had first appointment with surgeon that did this hole yesterday. He used his maglite and said "oh wow". He's extremely happy with the results. He said it would be April or early May until I am buttoned up. It will be done with plastic surgery. Long row to hoe!

Did you ask any of the doctors about your hand? The important part is your lungs are doing well. Spring will be here before you know it and you can go in for your plastic surgery.
Hey Mark I've been out of the loop for a while but man it's great to see you back on brother. Everyone was really worried about you, but I knew better- Marines never die- we just go to Hell to regroup!
